Boomtown Fair Chapter 10!
With festival season upon us, and after top reviews in 2017, (in just over a months time) Boomtown Festival 2018 is set once again to be one of the hottest festivals this year. Yes now in it’s tenth year, its back bigger and better than ever. Held at Matterley Estate in Winchester, Boomtown has made its name over the years designing and creating a festival suitable for all music lovers and guaranteed to bring them back every year. With 9 districts all hosting various genres of music and with new artists and genres added year on year, Boomtown 2018 is set to be the biggest and best festival since its launch in 2009.
With 24 main stages to choose from, there will be no shortage of great music to check out. For lovers of dancehall, jungle, dub and reggae, TrenchTown & The Lions Den is the place to be this year. TrenchTown is dedicated to providing the best in reggae and dub, there are 3 main stages for reggae lovers to visit with plenty more smaller ones. “Tangled Roots” stage in the woods is HIGHLY recommended! BIG BAD BASS SOUND SYSTEM
Biggest highlights for us for 2018 will be Jimmy Cliff, Mungos HiFi, Hempolics, Brushy One String (to name just a few for now!) and everything at the Tangled Roots Stage, big up Lion Unit Sound System.
2018 BoomTown Fair will begin on Thursday 9th August & goes on till the Sunday.
