Boomtown Festival is a four day camping music festival near Winchester which favours reggae and the bass culture scene.
Previous Boomtown fesitvals have played host to massive stars such as Congo Natty, Chronixx and Mungo’s Hi-Fi, Boomtown Festival brings together the best of the bass music scene. Opening in 2009, Boomtown has grown in leaps and bounds to become one of the big sell out festivals of the year.
Bringing together many different genres including folk, drum and bass, jungle, ska, funk and reggae and dub, Boomtown allows all music lovers from the novices to the professionals to come together and celebrate good music over 4 days.
Over the years, Boomtown has grown to include a Boomtique and now allows for the perfect weekend away encompassing good drinks, good food and most importantly good music. Set up in 9 districts separating the different music genres, Boomtown Festival is good fun for the whole family.
This year’s line-up is set to be a sell out as Trenchtown (home of reggae and dub) hosts many of the greats including Hollie Cook, Iration Steppas, Channel One Soundsystem and Trojan Soundsystem. A festival not to be missed! BOOOOOM!
