WOMAD (World Of Music Arts & Dance) Review 2018
Charlton Park set the warm and summery backdrop for another Womad special. The response of fans to this family based festival in the beautiful Wiltshire landscape was tremendous.
As always Womad delivered on areas for festival merchandise, food, fair ground and music stages were accessible and audience friendly.
Most important of all was the eclectic mix of world music and dance, supported by many including the BBC.
Headliners Mariam & Amadou from Mali, Ken Boothe from Jamaica and Leftfield with Earl 16 all excellent.
Always recommended, Womad has a magical place in our hearts.
